Clever thoughts. This post reminded of people in the US who have to pay for incoming phone calls. The charge for incoming calls makes callers subsequently conscious of their needs to communicate, and there is no reason why emails shouldn't work like this.
Blogs, Wikis and collaboration tools should be used to broadcast general messages across work groups, and these tools should leave inboxes purposed for the "important stuff".
All things said, to me the junk really is the magic stuff
It's good to see Google ramp up their efforts in the semantic web arena. Wolfram Alpha are now charging for their iPhone application and this, due to launch of the Nexus 1, is a bad move, as it reduces any chances of Wolfram Alpha gaining market share via the iPhone.
With semantic results being directly placed within standard search results, Google are already delivering efficiencies to their user base, across all platforms and devices.
Oh buggery somebody please beat them at something.
It's been ages since I've seen such a poor PR effort. Word about Detox is not new and this "rare" interview is nothing but a poor effort to plug Dre's headphones. Get on with it and release the fucking album already! Many elements of this piece are empty filler: purposefully placed to pad repetitive plugs about his technology line.
