Thinking: sleep on it

I’m the kind of person that has a new idea every other day: a new way of working; new business ideas; personal projects and things to do with my own lifestyle design. I get excited, carry out some research—and then nothing happens.

I’m going to apply sleep on it theory to new ideas next year: I will only commit to an idea if it sounds good after two weeks of actually, well, sleeping on it.

This is a great way to make the distinction between the good and the not so good ideas. I just watched this ted talk on getting more sleep today.

I particularity like when she describes sleep deprivation as a game of one up manship. So true!

Looks good. We’ll have to talk about it over coffee after I’ve watched it. I’ll have cake with mine thanks ;-)
