This is Dhiren Shingadia's blog about stuff that makes him tick. Here you'll find ramblings about web technology, design and occasional, superfluous, spatters of randomness.

Some music trends
I was interested to see which music website or web application was the most popular out of all my current favourites: Is blip.fm slowly losing the battle? I also started researching DJ Shadow, apparently he’s quite big in Poland — I had no idea! Poszanowanie!

Aim album covers

Tru-Thoughts
I’ve become a massive fan of Brighton based record label Tru-Thoughts. All tracks can be bagged from etchshop.co.uk and I thoroughly recommend the shapes compilations. Hectic!

It got me thinking… The web is turning people into Digital Freegans, people who use the webs’ free resources as alternatives to traditional paid for sources [...]

DIY DJ
I’ve stumbled upon Mac DJAY, easy to use DJ software for Mac OSX. It is very cool indeed as it imports all your music from iTunes and lets you record your own mixes. The software easy to use for amateurs (like me) and it has features for the pro’s too. I sense a few house [...]
