Can’t

I was having an IM chat with a mate today who is trying to learn something new. They said a very dirty word:

“Can’t”.

Really??

The Internet business – now more then ever – requires us to be multi-disciplined individuals. If you can do X, you better have a damn good clue about what Y is. Call me cliché but I just don’t believe in the word “can’t”. I have a (occasionally detrimental) blind enthusiasm that facilitates my learning of new things, and I don’t I fear sacrificing time.

Everybody is trying to climb their own personal:

I’m probably only a quarter of the way up and somewhere along the way I’ve dropped my pickaxe too.

The web is such an open information resource for enthusiastic people; the missing ingredients to any remedy that helps you overcome challenges are time and patience.

So, the next time you’re having a “I can’t” moment, take a deep breath and grow some:

I was inspired today by a colleague on our team who’s completed an MA in Business and Marketing to balance her knowledge, after studying an arts degree. She works in SEM and she optimistically seeks to broaden her skills in the future.

A true sign of patience and enthusiasm, I love meeting people this energetic.
